Armenian Allies

Hello all,
I’m building a Mongol (a long with a Tibetan) army using 1st Corp and hopefully some ex Steve Barber in 28mm.
One troop type I would like to include is some Armenian allies, but I’m not sure what they should look like?
Can anyone help with what figures I should look for and potentially which brand?

What period are you focusing on, any particular battles or campaigns?

Nothing in particular for battles, looking to have the mainstay flexible so I can cover Asia, Steppes, Middle East and Europe.
The 1st Corp range looks to based off the conquest period.

Somewhere between Charles Aznavour and the Kardashians? Not sure I would want the latter as allies though.

That’s a wealth of information Martin, thank you.
Depending on how the 1st Corp Mongols scale up, I thought for the knights I could either use Crusader Miniature Byzantine or the Perry Armenians?
Not sure on the infantry but I’m sure they will be easier to cobble together?
