lol It is stretching the boundaries of 'miniature' just a wee bit...

Finished off some birds:

Cheers mate. Still a bit daunted by the big fella haha.

Completed this chap over the weekend - thinking is that it's an animated suit of armour, a shell inhabited by the dreaming spirit of a sorcerer, something a bit like the Fetch from Norse mythology.

Beautiful stuff, as always.  Where did you get the birds?

Cheers chaps :)

Not quite sure! I know they were on sale from Northstar - either the Frostgrave or Dracula's America range? Think the latter.

I never really wanted an undead army. Untill I saw yours... Amazingly strong atmosphere, I almost can feel their smell! Are the miniatures (mostly) from Mierce?

Cheers guys! Yes - the miniatures are mostly from Mierce, and Sandraudiga is a (now OOP :( ) Mierce mini as well.

Finished off the barrow spider tonight - first time I've mostly used washes to paint a mini. This was straight over a zenithal base:

Pro eyes on the spider, well done, one of my favorite threads keep it coming.

And I noticed that Mierce has a 20% or 30% off deal going right now. I love some of the undead and beastmen and may pick some up with that deal.

I picked up a new lightbox at Christmas, and have been learning how to use the manual settings on my camera, so seems a good time to update some old pics! These chaps are Mierce minis with a Blackshields transfer from 30k:
