Portal of Doom, New Col. O Neal!
« on: September 26, 2018, 03:27:34 PM »
The Portal was found in a fifty cent bin at a local thrift shop. About 6 inches by 4 inches it's  made of  green styrene plastic. I did some google- fu and found out it came from a Spiderman play set. The moulding I've painted as vines is supposed to be webbing. I will probably do more but I've painted it to the point of frustration so good enough for now. The figures are 28 mm from Black Pyramid Gaming and a Moon Beast from RAFM.

Gentlemen, thank you all for the kind words! John DSD2 had the right of it the piece makes a dandy VSF Stargate. In that spirit here is Col. "Mad Jack" O Neal leader of the Portal Expeditionary Team. The fig is from Northstar's Dracula's America line. He's a bounty hunter so the scrolls in his belt and boot are wanted posters but work just as well as maps or blueprints. It's a tall mini 30mm blends well with IHMN scale. The last shot shows P.E.T. 1 setting off to adventure, Col. O Neal, Dr. Jackson and T'Ilk  the Martian.
