Battle of the Monongahela 1755, AAR Simple Seven Years War Rules
« on: December 02, 2018, 07:39:59 PM »
I'm up in Maine on a cold, rainy day so I completed the AAR of the French & Indian war game we played last Thursday. 15mm figures, new rules, read all about it. https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/

With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

I enjoyed reading the AAR , on your blog , I’m always interested in anything from the FIWars . I had,nt considered using Keith Flint’s new lite rules for this period, good idea ✔️. Wondered why you didn’t let the French officer Beaujeu die in the scenario, especially since he died in the real combat . Was there any reason for doing this ?

I decided before the game started to use our house rule for leader casualties. It didn't occur to me until afterwards to drop it and let Beaujeu get nailed just as in the battle. Perhaps I'm too scripted. Hard to teach an old dog new ricks.
