Fantastic painting! As jim says, those canopies really make them! :-*

Printed you say? What size are are they? I'm used to the old battletech metal figs that were roughly 28mm-ish.

Those 10mm Clans really pop!!

Love your 15mm faction too, I'm more and more tempted to try this for myself! Lovely work!

Completely agree, just finished reading through the gret death first three novels for the first time. Nice read and not dated at all.
Can't wait to see more gret death, especially a marauder.

Love that first novel--Decision at Thunder Rift! I've read the damn thing at least ten times since it first came out in the mid 1980s.

Agreed wholeheartedly, the three Grey Death Legion books are the only BattleTech ones I keep in paper when I downsized by dead-tree books a few years ago. Like Hammer's Slammers the technology may be fantastical and not entirely practical, but the human stories behind all the chrome, just work; to me at least!

I just couldn't resist these sweet 15mm Minis and i always wanted to try out Gruntz... ^^'

Sweet beans those are great!  I know well the pull of bi-scale gaming..... at least in the end we have pile of fun toys to play with.

Actually, the very first Battletech trilogy, detailing the rise of the GDL, is one of my favourite story arcs, especially since it's all relatively small scale; just a few light or medium lances, supported by infantry and AFV's, as opposed to the regimental or corps scale of the later battles of the Davion/Steiner/Liau/Marek/Draconis wars and of course the Clan invasion(s).

Light Mechs such as the Locust or Wasp/Stinger are almost completely overlooked in those large scale engagements, which usually pits Heavies and Assaults against each other. Those are cool too, but for some reason, the lighter skirmishes and local battles of, at the most, company level sit better with me, especially when considering them for the tabletop.

For my tabletop, I love having full companies of light mechs as the core of a game, and essential components of bigger battles.  Alpha Strike grabbed me in a flash because at long last it was practical to field full companies of Fedrat Valkyries pitted against full companies of Combine Panthers.

Yep, that's a Revenant, the one with lasers and machine guns.

Yep, most of the mechs are from Syllogy, some are from Minimalistix.
