Thank-you.

Great job on the cloak - I'm glad the tutorial was useful!  :)

Your original was dauntingly impressive, but the tutorial was clear enough that I took the plunge; I'm glad I did, it really makes the figure.

Wow, some serious threadromancy here, it's been a while since I've painted any woodland critters.

Starting the year with something a little different, a trio of moles from the rather wonderful Oathsworn Miniatures Burrows and Badgers range.  Maurice (red neckerchief) and Marco (blue neckerchief) are destined for my wife’s and my monitors at work, whilst Mylo the rogue (who gave the short-sighted mole a firearm!?!) will join my accidentally growing band of Burrows and Badgers woodland critters.  Despite originally having no intention to ever play the game, they're so fun to paint that I've somehow ended up with enough to play, and one of my colleagues also has a small collection, so hopefully later this year I’ll get to try the game out.

They are so fun to paint. You’ve done so well too.

Not long after I joined LAF in 2019 I remember seeing this thread and being inspired to buy some of these miniatures.

Took me a while to build up the courage to paint them as I was worried they would look awful compared to yours.

Whilst yours are definitely better than mine I did a good enough job to buy some more, and some more, and even more - last count I have 24 all painted.

Hope to see further pictures on this thread.

Sorry for the slow response, I don't frequent the Fantasy corner very often; I've just checked out your Rangers of Shadow Deep thread - your figures are very nicely done, I'm glad I inspired you to take the plunge into this thoroughly splendid range.

Meanwhile, as a little bit of a palate cleanser amidst all the grimdark Necromunda that's been monopolising my painting desk of late, I’ve painted up some more of the ever-lovely Burrows and Badgers woodland critters: Sgt Fred Colon the town watchmouse*, Fiona Ferret the landsknecht (gotta love the outlandishly flouncy clothes) and Harriet Hedgehog the alchemist.

* At some point I’ll do his compadre: Cpl Nobby Nobbs the watchweasel, also armed with a crossbow.

In what seems to be a 6 (ish)-monthly occurrence of late, I’ve taken another brief holiday from the grim darkness of the Necromundan underhive and returned to the green and pleasant land that is anthropomorphic Northymbra.  Added to my slowly growing collection of Burrows and Badgers woodland critters from Oathsworn Miniatures are Cpl Nobby Nobs the watchweasel and Montgomery Mole the landsknecht.
