Help finding a painting blog

This isn't much to go on but I figured if I could find out anywhere it would be here. A friend found a painting blog which involved a painter (the guy didn't wargame) who had a painting technique for his ECW figures that involved an undercoat in a brown leather Humbrol paint with a wash over the top that was wiped off later. My wargaming friend lost the page and really wants to try out the technique but can't find it. He seemed to think it had 'Lead Mountain' in the title but he can't locate it and his history settings meant it got wiped.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
