Latest unit is 6 scurrers from the Perry Light cavalry set. These will help form the line of cavalry for a Blore Heath game in November.

Excellent work.  :-*

It's great that you've gone for more muted colours rather than the more garish look  8)

Thank you everyone. Excited for the big Blore Heath game in November now. It’s only taken 3 years to kick off big scale WotR battles... ...should be well worth it though.

Will the Blore Heath game be featured in any mags perchance?

I’ll have a damn good bash at convincing someone to run it! Otherwise... ...I’ll put a write up in here with a million photos.  :)

Some more updates. Just waiting for restrictions to ease now so Blore Heath can happen. Hopefully before Christmas. Latest additions have been some lovely Steel Fist miniatures men-at-arms for a little variation, plus some Salisbury bowmen and a top-up of Warwick bowmen too.

Quite the collection you are putting together.

I recently came across your YouTube videos “Interviews With The Masters”, great work 👍

Subtle and tasteful  8)
Although I personally tend to paint figures in a bright, bold, high-contrast style, I always admire the knocked-back look when it's well executed like this.

Thanks both. Captain B interesting that we paint the same miniatures so differently! Your much brighter and smoother stuff is wonderful, and I too can see/appreciate its obvious benefits. When I was starting out it seemed wise to stick to a simple and grimy look because frankly it was easier for me but it’s definitely stuck and sort of become a style I’ve ended up ‘refining my. Kind of.

Just a simple light cavalry top up this week. Perry Plastics. I experimented with wet blending a lot on these and was pleasantly surprised. Five weeks until big Blore Heath game.
