Tarting up two warlord Churchill AVREs
« on: December 15, 2018, 09:42:14 PM »
So having finally got round to building these kits I decided that they needed the CIRD attachments to stop them looking so plain on the sides, which meant I had to scratch some out of plasticard. Rather than do that several times I made a couple of moulds and cast up enough for the two tanks, along with a small horde of mutant deformed bunnies.
Then it was just glue them on and replace the cables that had to be scraped off earlier, they're still waiting to be undercoated as it's snowing outside, and dark, that might be a problem too.

Looks like you have done a really good job - but I am a little puzzled as my Warlord kit came with those parts already - mind you it was the resin version

Yeah, the plastics only have the petard mortar for the turret and I know the attachments weren't universally fitted, but I think it looks better to have them. Plus it gave me a project to make something.  :)

Nice job on those.

Do we get to see the mutant bunnies?

Cheers.

Maybe, eventually. ;)
