Ah! Tartan paint needs a very steady hand, perfect eyesight and much devotion...

More including the Pretender. I painted the charging officer as Major James Stewart, using the Osprey book illustration, his jacket was a challenge.

I do not know much on English-Scottish history but your images are very inspiring to make me learn more.
