28mm post apoc crashed plane living quarters
« on: December 24, 2018, 08:28:43 AM »
hi all!!...MERRY Christmas to ye as well as of this post 2018
New project!!!......i got the idea from an anime movie called "Last Hope"...i will show screen shots.....
AS normal...all from cardboard and foam core, manila envelope, mini grommets, craft sticks, and tooth picks with a few parts box bitz to play with too..... the engine was made from a cheap dollar tree plastic champagne flute cut to needed specs and internals from cardboard...

 inspiration pics.....

My interpretation................

I still have a few more details to drop in...but that is the gist of latest project!!...
i has escape route from rear hold in bed room, and other "smuggler holds" if wanted in game play....doors and windows open...escape section over wing too like in the pic

Let me know what ya think!...Good OR bad....all plays into my NEXT project!!
thank You ALL!!...and Merry Christmas!!
Cheers...

I'm sat nursing a headache as a result of socially irresponsible town planning and being more than old enough to know better.  I wasn't even going to sign in today( just half lurk in the shadow feeling a tad sorry for myself) but your project is worth the effort of trying to type . ;D

There's absolutely nothing bad about this. It's a wonderful interpretation. Its got the balance between model and scenery piece just about right.( thats more to do with personal styling preferences and little 'card fu' practice)

There's a few people on here who've laboured lovingly with crashed planes . Who will be going "for Fecks sake" once they've seen how easily and cheeply you've achived yours.

Nicely done.

Very nice indeed.
I had to go back in your post to see which model kit you cannibalised, but to then read that you didn’t start off with a kit, and that you made it from chewing gum and string, is a real achievement.
Can I ask what happened to the “trolly dolly and her duty free ?”
Well done.

Your plane is so cool.
I was trying to figure what model you used.
Then I went back and read what you used.
Count me even more impressed.
Love it.
