LF Greek Rules?
« on: December 27, 2018, 11:12:43 PM »
Looking for preferably small man2man) skirmish set in historical or.mythological greek - Peloponesan War +/- sone years.

No need for perfectly historical game, need men clad in bronze corynthian helmets and long spear. Always loved David Gemmels storytelling and now looking as my wife is playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey inspired me to get some Spartans

I know about Man of Bronze, OGAM and Mortal Gods, but looking for maybe some smaller game.
Ideal size are one to two boxes of Victrix
..

One possible would be Typhon from Alternative Armies.
It's focus is more on the gods and how they influence the game.
However, the rules and stats make it easy to play a straight out
historical game. I really like them.

Although not specific you can use Song of Blades and Heroes from Ganesha.
Easy to learn and you choose the amount of figures per side though small parties of 8 or 10 gives a fun game of 1 and a half hour. You can always add more figures per side.
