28mm Spaceport Bar
« on: December 29, 2018, 08:31:02 AM »
Hi All,

I'm on the prowl for pics of the subject.

Anyone made one? Or know where I can find images of someone else's project?

I'm about to put one together and I'm determined to steal your ideas.

Thanks and Happy New Year!

L

A couple years ago I did a 28mm spaceport collection that I posted on my website in diorama form.  I believe that gallery is composed of 113 pictures and about a dozen of those are of the interior of my cantina.  The galleries on my website are easy to locate because they are identified by both word and picture... just scroll down until you see the one you want to look at and click on that picture and scroll through the photos.  The 28mm Space gallery is at the bottom of the galleries on the right side of the screen.   I think the cantina is about half way through the gallery or maybe two thirds.  It shouldn't take you more than a minute to scroll through and find the cantina pics.  With each gallery I also provide provide a lengthy write-up describing what I have used in the collection.  My vanity website is located at www.warin15mm.com

If you can find one, there is always the old AMT Mos Eisley cantina scene model kit.

Thanks for giving me a reason to dust off my Gatecrasher clix fig!

And where did you get that sweet Buzz Lightyear fig?

Legion, I agree... Gatecrasher is a wonderful figure.  I used quite a few of the Heroclix in my spaceport collection.  A great Heroclix space-related figure that I didn't find until after I had photographed and posted the gallery is HAMMER.
I got Buzz Lightyear at the swap meet in a pile of cast-off toys.  I think he was originally sold as a figure in one of the Disney Parks' Collector Packs.  The figures are sold blind, three to a pack, luck of the draw.  I got my Mickey Mouse/Star Wars figure the same way, and I think he also originally came in one of those Disney Parks' Collector Packs.
