Way Out West - Part Two - somewhere in the Arizona Desert, 2004
"Why the big overcoat in this heat, Red?"
The BPRD had been notified of some strange activity around a long abandoned town, way out in the desert. The activity reported appeared to be of a supernatural occurrence. Unknown to the BRPD, a necromancer had also picked up on this disturbance and she and her hired muscle were making their way to the same location.
The two groups enter the deserted town from opposite corners of the board, both making for the derelict church, which seems to be the centre of the unusual activity.
The necromancer approaches an area and feels the prescience of past death. Quietly incanting a ritual a grim shambling body pulls itself from the earth.
As the BPRD reconnoitres the area, a couple of Agents shout out a warning as a huge goat masked creature stalks along the long disused street.
The creature paces towards the two agents and suddenly coughs a sheet of flame over them ... ouch!
With jackets still smouldering, the agents return fire with their automatic weapons, whilst a third agent uses his jet pack to move closer to the beast, before opening fire with his shot gun.
Meanwhile, Kronus approaches the church and communes with a spirit, which materialises and slowly starts to move towards the necromancer.
With paranormal activity all around him, Hellboy moves around the old store and opens fire on a couple of thugs, quickly dispatching them. He then focuses his attention on the goat beast, who closes for the final hand to hand combat.
The location of the spawn points for the ghosts and zombies was determined by positions that characters in the first scenarios were taken out of action.

Really enjoyed this game, with the scenarios designed by, and great miniatures supplied by fellow LAF member The Somnambulist.

Dr DeAth:
Very novel - liked the way you reused the deaths in part 1 as the spawn points for part 2.

It was an inspired idea by The Somnambulist and worked really well; the spawned zombies and ghosts added a fun element to the game.
