« on: June 05, 2009, 09:34:31 PM »

Some wips and a comparison of Brigade Games new 1950's post-apoc greasers. They're not really finished yet but I wanted to show them anyway, becuase I like them and who nows when I find the time to finish them...  :)

Not bad, could make some good Tunnel Snakes.
Everything is better with lizardmen.

Oh yes I ike the AC57 Idea and the Greasers are my favourite gang .
(what a surprise ;))

You will see a few of them in my next LPL Round

Good work on your figures area23 but why all have the same colors ?
I would paint the first guy a red  jacket like a  harrington .
The jacket from Rebel Without a Cause
so you can  see wich member is a full ganger and wich one is a supporter  :)
But it is just an Idea .

Hope to see your Brute soon .

It really is a bit boring, no, all the same jackets?
I didn't know there would be difference in dress to gangers and supporters. But a red jacket or two is a must (as you can see the jackets aren't really finished, they look just passable on photo, but too scruffy up close). It looks a bit too uniform for a streetgang.

I should get more informed in greaser and stone-greaser gang culture.
I should watch rumblefish, outsiders and rebel without a cause again soon.  8)

And I feel a big urge to build a sub-urban slum. Perry Miniatures' new plastic house as the gang's hide-out...

in realety there isen´t a difference but it can be nice for the gameplay I think .

You can also watch ``the wild one `` or ``the wanderers``

Question:  Does the greaser deal that has 9 greasers and one mutant come with the mutant holding the stop sign or is there a second pose of the mutant (the one holding the stop sign).  Sorry but there are no photographs up at the brigade website.

From what I understand about gang "colors", full-fledged members of a gang would all wear the same jacket type, or at least they would have some identifying insignia in common. It might be cool to try to design a patch or logo for the back of the jacket ("Hell's Satans" or some such) that would give the figures more visual interest. "Wannabees" (trial members or hangers-on) could have a different look to distiguish them.

I think that's the same figure (the Mutant/Brute holding the stop sign) both available on is own and as part of the Greaser Gang (9 Greaser plus a Mutant)

It looks a bit too uniform for a streetgang.
It was a trend with the greasers to wear black jackets, blue jeans, and a dump-load of hair grease. It was an icon for the gang to distinguish themselves.
