TYW Cavalry Unit

I thought some of you might like to see these. Most of the riders are from Perry Miniatures (some from their Napoleonic ranges), but there are a couple from TAG and at least one from Foundry. The horses are Perry with a few Ebob ones thrown in. The conversions are by Nick Collier and the painting by Darren Linington.

Wow
Those are stunning. Not often you see wargames figures modelled in such natural and non-engaged poses. All that bespoke conversion and gorgeous painting must have cost a fair amount of silver...
Stunning.

Many thanks for all the kind comments. Captain Blood is right that it isn't a cheap exercise creating units in this way. I justify it by arguing that I only add a relatively small number of figures to my collection each year - after about 10 years my TYW collection is still probably less than 500 figures. And it's nice having figures which you've planned yourself and which are unique.

Dear God in heaven, these are to die for. The imagination that goes into conceiving of this is out of this world, and that's before you get to the converting and painting. Sensational. Would love to see the whole army.

Beautifully done and an excellent representation of what these guys probably did 90% of the time they were in the saddle.
