Go strong into the Jungle: My journey into Darkest Africa 2
« on: January 14, 2019, 04:11:13 AM »
Hello again Chap's it's been while.  I've been lost in the deepest jungles and have just now returned tp civilization.  It would seem all my old photos got infected with jungle-rot (photobucket).  I'll try to retrieve them and post them here in the new thread.

In the mean time you can gawk at what I knocked out this past week.  An African Warlord and family accompanied by his bodyguards and servant.

Pardon me for intruding, but it's a Copplestone figure, from the "African Villagers" set. Found in the Civilians section of his Darkest Africa range. It's new-ish (last couple of years or so, maybe).

Edit:
That goes for the child holding the baby, and also the lady holding the child's hand. Those are the figures that make up the villagers set.

Back from safari where I encountered the angriest of Pygmies and an old Zulu past his prime.

Very nice though, truth be told, I found the red a bit overpowering but perhaps meant to distinguish a 'unit' on the table which would be perfectly understandable.  Just so red.
