Hello everyone,

I am not sure if this is the right board to bring up the question, so please feel free to move it to a more appropriate one if necessary.

Well .. I have a question.
Is there a manufacturer (preferably in Europe) that does larger scale Mech models?

I am after a Cauldron-Born Clan Mech based on the current MechWarrior Online game in a larger scale. I found a model for 3D-printing but I am not into 3D-printing and the thought of burying myself into a new software, rescale the existing model and then go to a printer service is kinda scary ... well more the software part then the going to a printer service part.

I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction.
Thanks.

If you approach a decent printing service they can do all the resizing and printing for you, or you can ask around amongst the printers on here for someone willing to do a re-scaling of the original file (apparently it is very simple to do) then just send that to the printer.
I had a 1/300 aircraft 3D print file rescaled to 1/200 for my Falklands War collection then printed several times on Etsy (by a service in Estonia as it turned out), worked very well.

Yes, resizing is very easy, and a necessary "evil" in 3d printing. I don't think I've ever printed something exactly as scaled. I am almost always finding something supposedly scaled to 10mm but I want it in 15mm, or 28mm and I want it in 20mm. That doesn't even account for those models that are too thin, too long, too tall, etc. So even when I am looking at a 28mm model I often do something to it so that it looks the way I want it to. The software makes this very easy and I can't imagine a printing company not being willing to take a couple of minutes to get your order right.
