OGAM Celtic Gods: the Dagda and the Morrigan
« on: January 18, 2019, 07:26:41 PM »
Latest in a series of Celtic Gods that I’m doing for Of Gods And Mortals games: the Dagda and the Morrigan from Alternative Armies.  The Dagda is quite a comical sculpt but I’ve grown to like him, though he seems to be sold under a different name nowadays on the Alternative Armies website. I’ve had the Morrigan figure for twenty plus years, and decided to make her a little more sinister with the addition of three crows from Great Escape Games and three heads on poles from Gripping Beast.

The background is, as ever, a download from Jonny Hodgson Art.

I've heard of men losing their head over women but this is getting ridiculous!  ;)

Nice work, though, and those Alternative Armies minis turn out rather well given their age.

I have these from the first time round.  Now I am motivated to refresh the paintwork and get them back into a game.

Thanks! Mine are nearly all from ‘the first time around’ as well. I found that OGAM was the game that got me motivated to get them on to the table.
