Hmm,  9 pages on this thread and only one actual figure to show for it, exactly how distant is the 'not too distant future'?

Still no release dates then?

Thanks for all the splendid input chaps
all duly noted...its a huge project,,so needs
careful planning

Just curious how the 'careful planning' has resulted in you making (and presumably releasing) a mule mounted recoilless rifle before some basic infantry types?  ;D  lol

It's not released yet though. How do you do it at your company?

Well, I don't have a company, but my project management experience would lead me to:

1. create an overall high level plan for the range and split it into releases.  The contents of the range and releases should take commercials into consideration, i.e. don't offer esoteric troop types that will sell in small volumes as the initial release
2. work out what figures would be needed for an initial release to cover the basic troop types needed for someone to start gaming the period and to judge the commercial viability of producing subsequent releases
3. have the masters sculpted for the initial release and agree timeframes with sculptor for subsequent releases
4. announce the new range by showing pictures of the greens or first casts with details of how and when they can be ordered
5. publicise date and contents of next release.  The content of subsequent releases can be adjusted based on feedback or sales data. Dates should allow contingency for production issues.
6. Rinse and repeat until the whole range is sculpted and released.

Thanks for asking.

That's come out very well. Will there be different options for the mule available? It was a very versatile bit of kit so opportunities for add ons, etc. would be useful.
