Greetings from California
« on: June 07, 2009, 06:50:10 PM »
Hello all,

I can't believe I've just stumbled onto this wonderful forum site! Very inspiring.

I've been playing wargames for years now, and have quite the pile of lead accumulated. I paint slowly, but enjoy the process. My gaming friends and I are looking to do some more skirmish style gaming, and this site has much to offer us!

Wow, again just awestruck at the games I've seen posted here... from Insmouth to Tenochtitlan, I am blown away.

Hope to get some of my work up soon, cheers!

California is bankrupt...

That being said, doesn't mean I have to stop hording my pennies for more pieces of pewter and lead!

I'm interested in fantasy (sword and sorcery), colonial, pulp, and skirmish gaming in general. I live in a college town, and have a regular group of players. I also have lots of 40K stuff, I love the setting, not to keen on the game anymore.

Anybody live near San Luis Obispo on this forum?

bc99,
If you ever get up to Sacramento, look us up.  There is a good group of us that meet at a local store on irregular Friday nights.

Thanks Lead, I rarely get up there, but I do have some friends and make the trip about once a year. Would love to get a game with you guys.

Hey Postal, I hear yah. California is already like the movie Escape From LA! I'm glad I live far enough away that I don't have to deal with the city on a regular basis.

Thanks for the friendliness!
