A set of rules that I don't think anyone has mentioned here is 7TV stable. Has anyone had any experience with them?

I used to play first edition 7TV and it was a decent game but we dropped it for Pulp Alley, which is the best set of small skirmish rules on the market.  The new version of 7TV, 7TV2, is different but looks like it will give a better game.  There is quite a lot about it on the Cold War board like this thread http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=114047.0

Thanks for the mention of 7TV. The rules are already quite pulpy as the action as cinematic and play fast and fun. However we have a dedicated new boxed set - 7TV Pulp - coming out in June this year - it launches as the UK Games Expo.

It has 180 new profile cards drawing its inspiration from the classic cliffhanger serials. Just like 7TV you will be able to play across a variety of genres from jungle adventures, mystery theatre, gangland tales, eldritch horror and space romances.

We’ll also be launching a new range of Pulp miniatures to support the game.

Interesting, I'll be waiting to see what it like :)

+1 for 7TV2. It's our go to game. We have used it for horror,WW1,WW2,Pulp,sci-fi,samurai,spyfi, Sweeny etc etc...
I liked Pulp Alley, but the 7TV just beat it for our group and club. Great game though PA, got nearly every book and figure.

Thanks to all for the great input.  It appears I have several choices as far as rules go, now I just have to paint everything.  lol

Note that a new 2nd edition of Pulp Alley is about to be published. The new 2nd edition rulebook will include the information in the current Pulp Leagues booklet.

What type of miniatures are you looking for?

Pulp Aley is the best by far. It is a wonderfully designed game. And loads of fun to play. Their YouTube videos are also very helpful and entertaining.
