Love the model shooting from behind the wounded horse.  Excellent little piece and some great painting.   :-* :-*

Nice work.  Like those a lot!
Been playing with toy soldiers since the mid 70s.  Not planning to grow up any time soon.

Finally got these to the paint stage, not had much time lately so these have taken ages to finish. Dismounted Burgundian crossbowmen horse holder bases. Will base 3 horses on a single base for these and perhaps add some little bits and bobs like crossbows and unsaddled equipment. Might make another smaller one with left over bits. Would like to have a flag too but not sure if they would have carried more than one because would like to have the mounted versions of these with a standard.

Excellent work!

How did you do the stirrups and reins?

Thank you guys!. The reigns are green stuff rolled and flattened out. The stirrups are green stuff for the curved shape and then a little piece of plasticard for the base. Most of the stirrups came out more chunky than i liked and some are completly wonky but in the end i was just rushing and got fed up of them lol. Next time will make the plasticard a lot thinner and also the green stuff bits too

Finally got these finished, has been bothering me for months, now these are out of the way can start on new ideas. These are Burgundian horse holders. Originaly planed to have them on 2 large bases but decided last minute to base them individually so they are more flexible if dismounting in a forest or compound etc. Need to make one more base so that when all of them are put together it looks almost like they are on one large base.

Got so much to start and finish before January im a bit overwhelmed by the task lol. Thinking it might be best to have everything started or prepped and then i will know all that is left to do is paint paint paint. So going to have till the end of August converting figures and constructing buildings and trees then that will be the cut off.

Oh wow - fantastic! That's come together so well, a real triumph!

The dismounting one is my favourite, excellent posing. Also like the colour of his horse - what paints did you use?

Are the non-Perry horses from TAG? I wasn't sure about them at first, but they've painted up very nice indeed.

I'm sorely tempted to try something like this myself one day....

What's next on the list then?

Those are lovely. Really like the vibrant colours, something I seem to struggle with.

Those are brilliant. Great creations, and great painting too.

Now you just need to crop your pictures! :) (They'd look even better!)
