In the 41kg of lead delivered today was an unexpected surprise. Production castings of these four post apocalyptic figures by the brilliant Michael Anderson.

I hadn't planned on releasing these until a bit later this year, but I have them in my clammy clutches now, so thought I would release them into the wild! So you will have to forgive the pics of the greens until I can get these painted up.

I rather love this quartet, so thanks to Brummie Thug for tipping me off that they were for sale and Kawe over at Westfalia who originally commissioned them from Michael.

I know this is a bit of threadomancy, but any suggestions as to the origin of the sniper rifle?

It is certainly an AMR of some sort.

It looks a little like a Barratt 'Light .50', with a slightly futuristic looking stock.

It's the type of rifle that will go through most body armour and can penetrate most lightly armoured vehicles, robots - or Mecha..
