The first twenty minutes of the new Lego Movie (Lego Movie 2: The Second Part) is set in Apocalypseburg and was clearly inspired by Mad Max: Fury Road. There are some new kits out as well.

Not going to lie I'm building at least one vehicle based off something I saw :)
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

The best one I've seen in a good while is Scorched Earth. In my mind a real sleeper. Not the high quality of ht latter Mad Max or Eli, but I liked it enough to buy a copy. Has it all, one tough female bounty hunter, Mad Maxian cars, plenty of action and great costumes all wrapped up in a very entertaining story.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.  I've seen most of the films mentioned at least once.  Still not quite what I am looking for.  The Lead Adventure Post-Apocalyptic figures must have drawn their inspiration from something.

You need to grab the Metro 2033 books then

Indeed.  However, the first book is currently unavailable in English for Kindle!

Yeah, I don't quite understand it.  If a Kindle version exists, it does!
