Now I did not know this but the PAK40 was used in tiny numbers by the NVA.

But only up North, mostly for training and IIRC coastal defence. Actually, early on, they were the recipient of a shitload of ex-Wehrmacht kit, warehoused by the Soviets. Mauser K98s, MG-34s, the odd MP-40 etc. German small arms turned up with such frequency in captured NLF caches, that the US included them in intel and training briefs.

I have not found a reference for the MG42, only the MG34.  :-[

Anyone know different?

It’s possible but all the photos I have seen show MG-34s and there are quite a few out there. Even Stg-44/MP-44 showed up in Vietnam.

Todays preview sculpt is a team. NVA Officer with female radio mule. This group can work for unit command, artillery support or just listening into US forces radio comms.

Carrying a basket back pack to transport the American radio.

These figures when released will come with the handset cable and radio antenna.

Yet mote Paul Hicks 28mm lovliness to be added to our Vietnam range.
