Were they diesel or petrol engined?

Honestly no idea.  It could be either as there were both types of fuel about.

This article https://tanks-encyclopedia.com/coldwar/US/amphibious-cargo-carrier-m76-otter/ says that it was powered by a former aero engine (Continental AIO-268), so probably petrol.
More scary.

I'm thinking of sawing a spare grenadier in half and using that.....

The roof hatches all open so I'd think so.

I didn't open the side or rear doors as this would be less likely to be useful.

Yes, fuel tanks.... these were in no way combat vehicles!!

But were used in combat on occasion. For example Used in 1968 in the Battle of Dai Do in the Dong Ha sector when Captain Jay R. Vargas earned the Medal of Honour. The external fuel tanks are quite sensible and the post war M113 adopted the practise. If you are at risk of the fuel going up if you are hit better to have it outside rather than inside.

Yes we will. We have to do crews for the various jeep type vehicles which we sell in separate packs so they will be designed to fit the various vehicles.  ;)

Just about to get into the sculpting of these...…..before the Zombies get us  :o

As for Marines to fit into the back section you can utilise figures from the exiting packs.  ;)

Latest release is the NVA version of the PT 76.

Perfect if you want to re enact the Lang Vei camp battle or others. Makes a change to give the NVA the armour.

Loving the PT-76! Crew?

I know it would add weight, lose detail and drive costs up but is there any prospect of casting the tracks in metal as an option? My M48 arrived with a number of the delicate track extenders missing.

The original M113 had internal tanks, and the later external tanks (A2) had as good or better armour (and probably contained diesel - A1+ variants), but you do make a good point.

Yes we have on the list NVA vehicle crews.

Weirdly metal is cheaper than resin and easier to manufacture but you do lose some detail on intricate parts and because of the size of the track sections its not always sensible to put them onto moulds as the balance creates moulding problems. The PT 76 tracks are quite simple so should be fine in resin.

The Centurion tracks have been a real bitch but we have now sorted it and the vehicle will be released soon.
