Fantastic!

I feel like an echo od Carlos, but will we be seeing more ANZAC infantry? Another rifle pack wouldn't go astray, or some spare heads even? :)

Spare heads would be nice, I like the figure but not sure I need more than one Chad Morgan per platoon.

Worse comes to worst I have some spare heads that will fit and a number of spare M79s to hang off riflemen.

I'd just like to mention; if you're in Oz and order from Paul direct, it takes just over two weeks. Pretty good considering  :)

Another M60 figure patrolling would be good. Round out the platoon.

Alas, I suspect, I’ll keep feeding this habit until I have a full company.  lol

So I guess you'll  be getting a squadron of Centurions... lol

Unless you live in Townsville, in which case the package is hand delivered within 48 hours  ;)

Hmm (thinks hard....) nah, maybe a troop. What I'm really hanging for are some Aussie M113A1s with all the bells and whistles.

I'm going to try and be realistic about what will actually hit my table.

I'll settle for two Centurions, as I'm only looking at platoon+ actions. Any more than two would be rude to the VC player  ;)

And then three M113A1, plus an M113A1 FSV. That should be plenty of armour :)

You'll need a couple of Bushrangers then ;)

The Bushrangers weren't deployed until very late in the piece, so I can get away without them (I like '68 for my games)  :D

I generally treat air support as off-table for games however, especially in 28mm where AAA are few and far between.

There's a good resource here about UH-1H and the development of the gunships: https://www.radschool.org.au/Books/Bushranger2.pdf

And an article from Battlefront about converting them (albeit in 15mm): https://vietnam.team-yankee.com/5675/bushrangers-the-flying-kangaroo/

Well the FSV saw even less use. Only in theatre for a few months in 1971 and not utilised very much outside of convoy escorts even then. Truth be told it was a bit of a dud but I suppose it’s kinda cool, so yeah I wouldn’t mind one.

I’ve looked into what would be required to make a Bushranger in 1/48. Lotsa $$$ and lotsa work. There was resin mod from someone called Hamilton Models but it seems to be OOP at present. It wasn’t cheap either.

Maybe our kind benefactors/ crack dealers at Empress could be persuaded to make a mod for 1/48 Hueys? :)

Yep,there is/ was another company that did Bushranger mods, Red Roo Models ? Anyway, a simple kit would be great, actually the ammo belts and associated bins are the trickiest bit,as they were carrying 4 M60s,plus the two miniguns.
Of course now I’ve ordered the new figures,I’m looking forward to the SAS :)
