Thanks guys lots more to come in the coming days. One figure per day as that seems to be the way these things are done.  8)

However I fear that actual release will be quicker than we can show the sculpts  lol

Some more great poses! Funnily enough I was watching the Ken Burns Vietnam series last night and think I may have spotted the inspiration for the helmet accoutrements of one figure in one particular scene in Hue - which is good as I couldn't work out from the figure what was going on there! :)

Search on Ebay for Corgi Helicopters, the ones for 28mm are 1/48 scale.

Funny enough I was just watching the 1970 - 73 episode last night (2nd time) very political but incredibly interesting. Great documentary. Second only to his one on the ACW.

Well for the marines, at least of this era you really want a CH-46 Seaknight. Luckily for you New Ray make one in 1/55. You’ll have to repaint it but it’s a decent toy. The marines did use the UH-1 E as a gunship and a C&C and general duties bird. It’s essentially an aluminium version of the UH-1B and C. Revell make the gunship in 1/48, Hobby Boss make the slick version of the UH-1C in the same scale. It’s a cheap option and a easy-build kit.

If you want earlier helos for when Empress do early war marines both Revell and Italeri make CH-34s as dies Academy IIRC. Academy also make the CH-46 but it ain’t cheap or a quick knock together kit. Best off going with the New Ray toy.

Back on track, those poses keep getting better and better. I love this range.

This is just getting better and better  :-* :-* :-*

Will you also offer platoon deals?

Otherwise I could see myself subscribing to all new Vietnam releases. Back in the Dark ages Guernsey Foundry had such a scheme when Copplestone did all the Darkest Africa miniatures.... just a thought...(I still have a hundred or so unpainted models from those days  :D )

My first attempt but I’ve done some more already. I’ll open a new thread for my Nam project later and update it as and when.
Lovely figures 😎

Cheers
