Any issues give us a shout on mail@empressminiatures.com. We export packed them but its been a long time  ;)

Via Yorkshire and no doubt a few places in between as it happens. The way we went to Beachy Head by way of John o’ Groats. :D

Mind, if they take a wrong turn at Doncaster, they could end up in Hull...

Arrived today. Very happy, even nicer in the hand, can’t wait to to put brush to figures. Serendipitously, I just discovered what seems to be the ideal base coat for them.  Vallejo Panzer Aces Splinter Strips. (348).

So I'm being good. Going to be more restrained with my buying. Just purchased some Empress Zulu war as part of a new project. But this bloody thread just eats away. I have an idea. I happen to have the Giants in miniature Platoon figures. I will paint them up and all that olive drab will surely put me off. Just finished the two figures. Very pleased.
All four packs ordered as I knew I would. Sigh.
Two notes:- the Giants in miniature figure from Apocalypse Now is really a giant and if you haven't considered it the Games Workshop app is brilliant even if you don't use the paint's although they are very good for Vietnam type colours.

Sorry me again. So here it is rather old, painted forever but never played. Can anyone recommend solo rules I have been looking at the new FNG and Charlie Don't Surf. Bearing in mind I'm am an empress junkie so what best suits.
Help appreciated

What size game are you looking for (eg how many “toys” on the table)? No expert on rules for Nam but have tried test games over the last 12 months with Force on Force (aka Ambush Alley), Danger Close and the unofficial Nam adaptation for Chain of Command and all gave fun (but different) games. Perhaps we need a Nam Rules thread?

Cheers

Ian

(PS like you I’m an Empress junkie - currently working through their Viet Minh - wonderful figures. Once these are done it’s forward 15 years to the USMC. Can”t wait to see what they do with NVA and Air Cav !)

Thank you Juan I will read through the thread today and Sparrow in answer to your question I don't really know. There are 16 figures en route and at least another 24 promised then obviously some enemy. I think I want something that can grow with me as I understand the game more.

Frank
