I have started to stockpile plastic plants in order to build jungle terrain. Just because of this thread. Once I have mu jungle built I immagine all of these marines have been released.

So thanks for that.. As if I don't have enough projects...

Did that about three years ago. Spent the summer months making jungle terrain. Forward planning :o

Latest figures look great but any chance of some slightly more vanilla advancing or firing chaps to bulk out the platoon? The last couple are so distinctive, they’ll stand out as multiples. Thank gawd for the bits box.

Maybe it’s Country Joe?

And it’s one, two, three, what are we fighting for?
Don’t ask me, I don’t give a damn
Next stop is Vietnam.......

 lol

As many vets said they had a difficult war but the best sound track.

However worth noting is;

"44 Years Ago Today The Vietnam War Officially Ended! Take A Moment to Remember the 58,220 Lost!"  :'(

Note sure about that number as I have heard a lot higher figures for the US alone and it does not include the Vietnamese which is numbered in the millions nor I suspect the other allies. But still an interesting anniversary.

That number could be right... IIRC, I’ve hear the US suffers around 60000 casualties during the war.

Another number that seems a "little low", is from Ken Burn’s Vietnam war documentary stating that "only" 20% of all US troops involved in the war where "combat units"...

Empress, I am really impressed. I ordered this weekend.
And today the miniatures allready arrived.

The usual order and shipping experiences I have from the UK to the Netherlands are at least 4 weeks. :o
