Saw some in the flesh in bare metal and 1 painted up yesterday; luvverly.
When are the Viet Cong guerrillas turning up?

All the figures are designed and weapons made and ready to start sculpting soon when we have done some special Marines. so a few weeks for the start.

Empress, I am really impressed. I ordered this weekend.
And today the miniatures allready arrived.

The usual order and shipping experiences I have from the UK to the Netherlands are at least 4 weeks. :o

I will pass on your thanks to the Empress Christine  ;)

Todays Marine is Gerald.

He is slightly fuzzy due to in action shot and nervous combat photographer.

Nice but Gerald deserves a caption.

That's what happens when they make someone lump the heavy stuff round and people shoot at him.

Weapon fires, weapon stops! That takes me back ;)

Another fantastic Hicks sculpt. I'm really excited to see the VC sculpt when they come, but really I'm busting for diggers!

Just started putting paint to lead. These are truly wonderful figures, some of Paul’s best work. Many thanks to all involved, I see hours of pleasure ahead, well given the usual demands of work, being the cook and dedicated chaffeur.

Now I must report a distinctly unpleasant experience. In between base coating the figures, I decided I should finally finish off my New Ray CH-46. It received a repaint last weekend and on Friday I received a set of 1/72 Print Scale decals. The bird being 1/55, for the most part they look about right. Farrrrrrrrkkkkkk. Applying decals is never my favourite hobby activity but these things were a royal pain. You only had to look at them to curl up. Applying them took me about two hours of precious painting time. Finally I got them all on bar a single buzz number that just imploded. Dried and a coat of varnish later and I’m pretty happy with the result but I doubt I’ll be buying Print Scale decals again.  >:(

Hope the ones I’ve ordered for the Skyhawk are easier to work with.

I received the first four packs on tuesday and I have to say these are truly wonderful! I love the attention to detail, especially the stuff some of these guys have tucked under the helmet bands - My favorite has to be the guy with what I (I hope correctly) interpreted as a "troll doll" strapped to the back of his helmet - Is there a reference photo of that? I'd love to see it! :D

Anyway, here goes:

I am really looking forward to painting up the next pack - These are a joy to paint!

Wondered about the same thing! So also interested to any reference there may be.  :D
