I am now wondering if I should paint a few of these guys up in EDRL for later (69-72) operations.  :D
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

That’s precisely what I’m doing. The ERDL seems not to have ever completely replaced the green uniforms, so it’s quite realistic to mix them. I bought some duplicate packs with just this in mind.

In the book "Phase Line Green" by Lt Warr he recounts how one Marine had thick, bottom of coke bottle glasses. This chap could barely see and was sent into Hue?

Fantastic book. Love the way the officer solved the problem by stamping on the glasses and having the Marine taken out of the front line for being blind.  lol

Glad you enjoyed the book Paul. Thought that it might provide some inspiration. Marine snipers hiding in the loft spaces! Maybe even a Lt Warr with his PRC25 staring at a dead dog!

Just finished painting and basing some more Marines for my personal use and did a team picture. Still working through the personalities and just about to be hit by a lot more packs so not a true picture but does show the progress so far on the range. 64 figures to date and another load due to be released very soon plus the vehicles and some other stuff. Phew. Not bad for a range development in such a short time and only just scratched the surface.

VC sausage machine now turned on. lol

Many thanks to everyone on this thread for your support on this.  :-*

That is one fine collection of miniatures. Quick question - will the Pattons come with stowage or will a seperate stowage pack be in the pipeline?

Not sure yet but there will be some unique stowage such track lengths with the vehicle. Other universal stowage will probably be sold separately as it can be used across the range for other things.

Useful to know.

Looking good.

Stowage would be very useful. The photos of the tanks at Hue seem to show lots of petrol cans and large square cans (not sure what they are). Its all good though. Keep em coming!

Can't wait for the Patton either!!!
Storage would be very nice individually, like C-ration packs, Ammo boxes, water canteens, Ammo pouches etc
In hoc signo vinces

I’m all for some separate bits of battlefield debris!
Ration boxes, ammo crates, Jerry cans, claymore mines etc..  8)
