Vehicles on their way as well. M113 with the full ACAV turret at the moulders and Patton, Commando, Ontos just about to be. More after that.
Excellent.

Hopefully in time for Colours.

Just back from Vietnam and have to agree with Carlos. The previous hats were too "shallow" and the same hat is still worn by civvies and police, guards and the few military that I saw from Ho Chi Min City to Hanoi.

Great tour of the Cu Chi tunnels but a large portion of it has now collapsed and is unusable for tours. Afraid this old body wasn't able to bend sufficiently to go through the now slightly enlarged tunnels but some of our younger tour members did as did my partner but she is shorter and fitter than this old Buddha bellied bloke. Interesting to see the reactions at the firing range as some wealthy tourists used the AKs and 30 cals for a bit of fun. A lot of dead dirt on that range. Nice wrecked M-41 that ran over a mine in 1970.
Cheers,

Yeah, Cu Chi has a bit of Disney-Vietnam feel to it. Interesting in parts but I found the shoot a gun for $$$$ somewhat bizarre. I’m only 5’10” and I found bending over in those tunnels a right bugger.  I had a really nice guide but I had to giggle when we got to the try the food bit. He made a moue of distaste when they served up the boiled cassava. I happily tucked in and told him we eat it at home on a regular basis, it comes from Brazil and it’s called aipim.

Did you see the Canadian C15TA armoured truck near the entrance?

Will you have a separate section on the website for NVA when there are more packs?

I glanced at the Vietnam section and did not originally realise that NVA packs were up, as they are on the end of the US - Vietnam section.

Wasn't going to but it is probably a good idea. Also a room for civilians and another for vehicles.
