Very cool. Once I get my WW2 project completed, I will go all in on doing the Nam.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

That gun in the AA mode is one of the best pieces of animation I have seen in 28mm.
Well done Mr Hicks !
Jonathan

Cheers for that  :-*

Seems logical, well to me, that the relevant threads involved in developing the Empress range should all be linked into here so I will post a link to the vehicles Rich H has done.

Keith, a director of Empress Miniatures, has painted a couple of our Nam USMC for an article he has written for Wargames Illustrated. Due out in a month or two.

The article is an how to paint our Empress Marines, although obviously works for any Marines of the period.

Stay tuned for the release date.

You may also be interested in the February edition as it contains an incredibly good article on Vietnam through the eyes of the Marines. Also some colour piccies of our range. Written by a little known literary talent, me.

Cheers, Paul

That has to be some of the best painting I've seen in a long time. The detail (like the peace symbol on the helmet). Blown away! It also provides great motivation to pick the brushes up again and makes me want to put an order in for more figures (very cunning trick from Empress  ;)
