Glad it got there.

The huge majority is getting through. Some super fast, some super slow, only the odd missing one but all customers brought to a satisfied conclusion so all good. Extra hassle though.  lol

Is that like a happy ending? Hopefully the miniatures business is going just as well.  lol

Yes that does seem to describe the miniatures business. Some super fast, some super slow and the odd one just missing  lol

The plague has to date just been super busy for us and so as the world goes through a very bad time we are pretty safe on our imaginary island doing our best to keep our customers happy. What has been really nice and kept us going has been both the good humour of customer, (well 99.9% as there is always the odd one that just does not understand the current situation.) and the significant number who send us messages of encouragement and thanks and calling us there mental health support.  lol

Staring at the Empress pages has helped keep me sane during this time! Between the gorgeous new ANZACs, picking out suitable figures from the NVA and going back over the SCW for my VBCW project has been a pleasant break from all the real-world madness.

S’funny. Before all this Covid-19 whatnot, you would have thought that the old male standby fantasy of owning a pub would have been relatively fire proof....

Now I reckon it must be a miniatures company. Quite a few folk have reported record business and busyness during the current flap. There’s a silver lining to every dark cloud.

Actually, there are a few silver linings. Bars and restaurants here have been permitted to reopen, with limited customer numbers, social distancing and all that but the mini colony of hipster bars and eateries near me haven’t reopened, in fact I suspect they have been wiped out. Seems that whilst Covid-19 kills boomers at a higher rate, it kills millenial’s businesses. Far be it for me to wish anyone to lose their job or business but if it must someone, the thought of it being a shit load of turmeric latte sipping, bearded c***s with top-knots, retro hi-fis and a sense of post-modern irony is somehow comforting.

Another round of thanks for keeping us sane. I’ve had loads of fun painting your figures and building stuff and it does take the mind off it all.

Just remember that if you are bringing the punters to a ‘satisfied conclusion‘, keep the hand sanitiser close by.  ;)

TICK, TICK, TICK.....Its getting louder!!!!

Lets just say that I have spent all day packing masters up to be sent for moulding. Came to at least 14 moulds worth of stuff. Its actually a lot more than that  in terms of items as one mould will have bodies for 6 vehicles in it, there average 16 figures to a standard size mould, etc. The box contains figures, vehicles in metal and resin.

And there is already a lot of new stuff already at the moulders.

And that's not everything as we still have new stuff here on the table to send.

Lock down was VERY busy.

Now we can get onto new releases as they are also stacked up. Tomorrow job. Time for tea now.

Stay tuned.
