Hahaha. Greed is good.

There must be some synergy achievable between Vietnamese villagers and downed pilots  lol lol lol

Out of interest what is needed to round off the platoon.  ;)

I'd go for two more packs:
Four blokes with 66mm LAW rockets; two with M16 & two with SLR. Rockets could be strapped to webbing/packs or in firing poses.
Officer/foc with map/compass, probably an m16, RTO with SLR; two man m60 team, gunner firing/kneeling + no2 with slr & a load of extra link.

That said I'd rather have an SASR team...

An SAS team would be nice but from a gaming point of view tricky to deal with. SASR’s battle losses in Vietnam were so spectacularly low (1KIA, 1 DoW, 28 wounded) that just about any time you lost a figure, the VC player would have won by dint of historical comparison. The majority of SAS losses were actually accidental. Given the number of probable and confirmed kills assigned to them it’s probably one of the most lop-sided aspects of any war, let alone Vietnam. To put that into context, Australia suffered 414 KIA over a ten year period In Vietnam including the advisory period from 1962 on.

I hear you; I'm just looking at the posibility of some seriously cool looking figures to chuck paint at.
If you've seen the MACV-SOG figure on FB that Paul H made for a competition winner, then having him do a similar job with an SASR team (modified weapons and personalised belt kits) would for me tick all the boxes.

Quite agreed they would be fun to paint and I would definitely buy some.

Not so sure about the current crop of SASR though, I’m not into painting swastikas and Confederate flags. Some right fucking numpties currently serving.

Man, skirting the modern rules of the board here... But there's been some pretty distressing news coming out lately!

I'd say that Ash has it pretty much on point with what packs would be nice to see for the ANZACS. The M72 would be good to scatter throughout the platoon and lead to increased variety amongst forces. The command pack with extra M60 would just be the icing on the cake too  :D

I'd love to see a SASR patrol too, although I suspect any game would be a very one sided affair  ;)

Anyway moving on  o_o

We have a lot of releases coming out over the next weeks as we have been quietly sculpting stuff and stacking it and drip feeding it in. Wouldn't want to bankrupt anyone.

Things like Chopper pilots are going into production moulds now and gun crews on their way. I have no idea what of the large batch will be coming out first so stay tuned. Guessing next week.

As for ANZACS we have 5 (I think) versions of the Landrover so will be revisiting them later in the year to crew so will do some gap filling with the infantry.

T54 and T55 will be out soon as I have the test moulds back and they are great. Will release them as separate vehicles. Planned to have a body and two turrets but its not worth it as the difference is quite basic and mainly on the turret so might as well sell them as both types. My NVA will get one of each but my Iraqi army will also get a few  lol

If you have civilians one or 2 packs of national police would be helpful as they where often the main targets and first responders to communist attacks. One could be in shirts and caps and the others could be in mixed uniform and camp like in the attached picture.

Good news on the Land Rovers, looking forward to those.

Please could you explain further on the T54/55.

Only T-54, in various iterations in PAVN service during the Vietnam War. T-55 came after.

Probably a bit moot, the only real visible differences are the ventilator dome on the turret and a minuscule hole in glacis for the bow machine gun on the T-54, unless you are talking about the earliest models of the T-54 which don’t seem to have been fielded by the PAVN.

Thanks Carlos.

I was a bit confused (I have been looking at a smaller scale plastic  T54 project)
