It does not have to be hard. Just have him do a clay version of himself and make a golem. In fact you could have a small army of golems.

That's the ticket! I'll see if my buddy who is studying the kabbalah wants to contribute.

Don't worry that figure will never be done by Empress Miniatures. I suppose the clue is in the name = Empress. They keep us men in check. lol

The image is very iconic but we just do not do the extreme style of figures as its just not us. We have been asked to create some really 'interesting' figures for our Ultra Moderns range such as beheadings but certain subjects cross the line, even if hey just creep across it. The simple question is does it add to a scenario and none of these extreme designs do.

We will be doing some casualty figure at some point as they are relevant to the conflict and scenarios and some of the vehicle crews were subtly designed to be able to fit this area.

Top marks to  Andrew_McGuire for starting an interesting debate though. These things should be discussed. ;)

Thanks Paul.  I felt really uneasy about it, even though I wasn't actually proposing such a figure. You're right, there's a line that shouldn't be crossed, and that image is definitely on the wrong side of it, but if we don't think about what war costs, we shouldn't, as far as I can see, be playing collecting military models or playing war games at all.  I've known people, as most of us probably have, who view the entire hobby as highly distasteful, and some who view hobbyists like ourselves as slightly sick. If we were to gloss over the hideous things that happen in war as mere aberrations and irrelevant to our fun, they would be quite right, but I think the responses here show that's not the case. (I can't speak for video gamers, who engage with a simulation of imminent life or death in a highly graphic form, but this isn't a forum for that kind of game).

BTW, I once looked at a soft plastic figure set of Chechen rebels from an eastern European manufacturer which included a figure with machete holding aloft a severed head. I was repelled, of course - though if I'm honest, also grimly amused, albeit fleetingly  - but I own dark age and samurai figures doing the same thing, about which I have never felt any qualms at all. I'm really not sure what this says about the hobby, or, perhaps more to the point, myself.

Great film. Some interesting buildings in that.

Especially like the garages.

Right? Lots of terrain ideas. And that massive grave yard. (or what ever those white stones in a row are) is pretty prominent.

Anyone?  To save me going back through the many pages on this thread,
what is the status with ARVIN figures?
Pretty please.

There will be, but not at the moment (subject to change/correction by someone in the loop).
