Pulp Alley Battle Report: Jungle Trail Part One
« on: February 06, 2019, 12:33:58 AM »

In the dark jungles of Perilous Island two very different leagues are being taunted by the Natives who are testing the incomers.

The Raven squad aren't ones to back down from a challenge, they waste no time in meeting their challenger face to face.

Phantom Ace has brought along his trusty sidekicks Rutherford and Roswell, as well as the Brainy Felicia.

But this isn't these Natives' first rodeo and they easily out maneuver the new comers and start the game of cat and mouse.

Raven isn't one to give up when the going gets stuff, no sir! She's hot on the trail, ready for some action.

But even the rugged Raven has trouble in this unknown land. Luckily she as a crackerjack team ready and wiling to come to her aid.

Roswell spies a lurking Speedy in the jungle and springs into action.

Speedy is no match for Ace's trusty sidekick.

Phantom Ace jumps at the chance to win a point for the home team.

Success!

A new native appears and Rutherford and the Brainy Felicia aren't dawdling as they follow his trail.

But unafraid of traversing these dangerous paths, he leads them into a trap.

Foiled again! The sky pirates have been lead into the brambles and have seem to loss their prey.

Roswell set his sights on another of those dratted Sky Pirates! But number twenty-four ready to defend her colleague. But whose that shadow we see lurking... it's Phantom Ace ready to come to the rescue.

The Raven is stalking- waiting for the right moment to strike.

The Brainy Felicia doesn't hesitate to follow the trail no matter where it leads. Danger be damned... but becomes entwined in the dangerous vines, she calls out for help.

Rutherford hears her pleads for assistance and he too charges through the trecherous tangle.

Will our intrepid adventurers make it out of their perils?
What's happened to Phantom Ace and Roswell?
Will Raven finally get her man?

Find out next time on Pulp Alley Adventure Theater.

Gauge is overcome with having to wait until part two, but have no fear she won't have to wait long.
