I felt really sorry for the exposed Russian squad right next to the HMG, it was a dead cert the HMG would bring them a lot of unwanted attention.

Thanks. All paints are Vallejo acrylic and I use Russian Uniform over a base of Brown Violet, with highlights in a mix of Russian Uniform and Buff. Russian Green for the helmets. Glad you like them.

Thanks for your response. I've just bought AB US & German infantry (Russians are on the horizon) for CoC - I've managed the Americans without much problems but I am struggling with the Germans - I felt my first try with the 'right' colours was very dull (my previous AB painting was with the Napoleonics) so I feel I am starting from scratch. I looked on YouTube but most tutorials are for 28mm or 15mm so I am either scaling down, or up!

We are coming close to the endgame in the Westwind campaign as we reach Map 5. Casualties have seen both Russian and German platoons under strength and it's as much a battle to keep your platoon together as it is to defeat the enemy. We now reach the final map and the Germans have two chances to capture this and achieve a campaign victory. The Russians have little left to stop them but they are determined to make a stand and prevent a German breakout, but have they got the resources to do it?
