I once made a conversion using a dwarf ironclad from Man O’War and was told there is a special circle of hell for people who cut up old classics. It’s nice to know I won’t be alone in there. I am quite sure you are going the same way as me...

Your work is way better than mine though..

Wow, that's something else!  :-*

What a beautiful project; I love the repurposed shapes and the natural flow you managed to achieve. You  made it look purposebuilt.

The only thing not quite meshing is the head. It lacks the flowing lines of the rest of the droid, but then again, it does add to the overall look.

Also, for a moment I thought this already was the final paintjob; the plastic and putty colours work well together in a muted, 'realistic' way. Will you be painting it something garish, or will you keep it muted?
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Is it bad that I thought it already was painted? I was thinking that grey yellow scheme is unusual and quite striking then I read your post... lol

Great thread some really nice bots on display.

Cheers, man. I liked the contrast between the body which is like a jet fighter and the somewhat goofy head, almost a bit friendly. A couple of people have made similar comments about the paint scheme. Not quite decided on the paint but I'm leaning towards something militaristic, Heavy Gear style.

Another awesome thread Nicklas!

Really love how well the Eldar and Space Marine bits mesh.  Seems sort of counterintuitive on its face since the aesthetics are pretty different, but it looks awesome.  Really looking forward to the paintjob.
