These Papuan Infantry figures where beautifully sculptured by Kostas Herko , the detail is clearly defined and a pleasure to paint.

Yup its not easy painting Dark skintones so they look good without being too 'cartoony' - well done John  :-*

Thanks john I had not heard of Nuln Oil until now - I assume its a dark almost black ink type wash?
Is this the stuff?

I have to admit I normally use W&N Sepia tone ink for this job but that stuff looks interesting.

Yes John its a black wash , I don't use that often , Agrax Earthshade is the one I generally use.
