French vs British somewhere in the Peninsula
« on: February 20, 2019, 10:16:13 PM »
Roger Fought with his Napoleonic British for the first time, but his third actual game, with some Portuguese & Spanish Allies. Rules used are Shako II

A game which ebbed and flowed on our flank, but just ebbed away on Harry and Dave's flank, as Harry rolled woeful dice all night!

Harry's French Flank vs Dave's Left

My French Left Flank vs Roger's Right

My French Dragoons charge British Light Cavalry

Meanwhile My French and Spanish Columns march on!

Roger's Center coming forward

My Dragoons bounced both Light Cavalry, but would be prone to musketry from the British on the rise!

Dave charge his Hvy Dragoons and lights and destroyed (Annihilated ) 3 French Battalions Cause a Divisional Morale on the 2nd turn!!!!

The French units destroyed

French right

Harry charges the guns

The French Center were close to contact, French right in turmoil

The French left squeezing the British, who were now find deployment into line difficult

Overview

Dragoons and Hussars Charge the British unite on the rise

The French right attacks were all failing to contact and were in danger of getting cut off from the rest of the army.

The Dragoons got bounced but the Hussars destroyed a line unit outright!

The French right starting to get their battle line sorted

he French left were really putting pressure on the British line, but time was against us!

If it isn't enjoyable, it isn't gaming!
