Cheers ,
They've been a fun way to fill an evening. The crashed plane has had its first outing .I managed to shoot myself in the foot with it thought ,as it became the focus for several players rather than a single plot point.Totally throwing the game off course.
War monkey. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Mark.

Now next project a Civillian train or Trampsteamer ( I've a swiss army knife of Steamer already . and an Armoured train.so neither are a big leap. I've just not made my mind up on either.)

You need an MBV-2 Rail Cruiser ;)

War monkey .I'd combine the two wood fuselage and card wings and detailing.if you add a couple of pictures of your progress Id be happy to see if there's any short cuts I know that will help you in 15mm.
Rich ,
I've only got three feet of track past the station section(still a wip) so just over 4' in total.Even thats putting a strain on storage so tempting as another armoured 'train' is I'm going to stick with this one (I thought it was a forties design? But its trains and I know begger all about trains   :D )
Still pretending I don't want a railway gun Only thing stopping me is I've no plans of small English gun.   :D

That was my idea as well wood for the fuselage and card for wings or use popsicle sticks for some wings as well with some shaping and sanding and with some different sizes, but of course for larger aircraft I will have to laminate card together.

I will post pictures as soon as I can I have a couple of busy weeks ahead before I can get back to this project.

Thank You for your assistance as well.

I genuinely forgot how carried away I got with this

It's got a gun that recoils and has a working breech.  Plus all the joints and hinges work...

You carried away? Never!
I mean that'd be like building half of Berlin on an impulse  lol
It's a bit too posh for my board I'm aiming for a more Heath Robinson feel if only in spirit not execution.
Just out of curiosity how on earth did you envisage using it ?

Stormbird.
I'll take you up on your kind offer although It'll be a while yet .Now that my hand has healed I've a few paid pieces to catch up on.
Mark.

It was an objective but bolt action doesn't really care about gun ranges...

How about an MBV2?

Talking of Berlin I've got the idea of the lustgarten now.  Two ww1 tanks captured from russia were exhibits.  Rumors were that they were used as pillboxes during the last days of Berlin.

It's not a rumor they used all the left over armoured cars fron ww1 and the street fighting in the 20's.literally any thing that could be found.
It's just people are not looking for them in the right context.
(You need to look into the history of the clean up of Berlin right upto and including the air lift. Also the flak tower hill.rather than conflict photos)
Your not going to see images of vehicles just bits poking out of hills of rubble.in the same way people under estimate the sheer size of the rubble barricades.I had a similar issue with Austin7's the official club says they never saw active service. Ten minutes of raking throught destroyed military vehicles photographs of the Dunkirk area and you can find image after image of burnt out Austins.
