Xyston 15mm Spanish Project
«

These are quite large figures for 15mm so the subject should perhaps more reasonably be entitled 18mm, but either way they are great to paint and I am thoroughly enjoying putting this army together.
Here are a couple of pictures from the second batch of scutarii I have managed to complete:
More here for anyone interested, and I'll no doubt add to this post as I go along:

Mmmm, one of my favourite barbarian armies. Are you going to include some solid iron heavy javelins?

Thanks for the comments everyone. I hadn't thought about the solid iron javelins Fierce Kitty, but will have to look into them now. Thanks for the suggestion.
I have also replied to your PM, Wu ZhuiQiu.

Writing of 15mm Spanish, is there any chance that somebody here might have one or two of the female miniatures from the Corvus Belli Spanish infantry command pack? I believe that they were modelled after la Dama de Elche:

I would be willing to pay a fair price for them.

Those are really lovely. I have seen some very nice versions of these figs over the years but this has to be top of the heap.

Thanks for the kind comments. The Xyston figures are a pleasure to paint and have an amazing amount of detail which really helps the process.
