A long running, often stalled project of collecting the French allies of the Grande Armee.

Here is the start of the Neapolitan Army, the 7th (Royal African) Infantry Regiment......apparently the troops from Naples won the prize for being the most unreliable troops in the army!

More too follow

According to one book I've read, when the 7th was transferred from French service to Neapolitan, it went from being the worst regiment in the French army to the best one in the service of Naples.
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss
