I must admit it's an interesting vehicle Sorely tempted to build one. That said you can tell it's designed by someone who works in 2D.Its a bit of a tardis   lol
I've popped a 'Thing' thread on Future Wars so you can get a better idea of the size relative to 28mm.

You've only got to hang on until Saturday now!
The Kickstarter also includes Richard's Solo / Coop Pulp Arctic game Whiteout.
Backers will get access to download PDF copy of playtest version to participate in playtest and in December A4 perfect bound illustrated book and cards will be available.

I guess I should have also mentioned that the Kickstarter will open it's doors at 10:00 GMT on Saturday 29th June and runs for just over two weeks until Monday 15th July.

Today we've been working on the card decks for 'Whiteout' the solo / coop play game of Polar exploration by Richard Humble, launching on Kickstarter on Saturday (29th June).

A PDF playtest version of the full rules and the three card decks will be available to all backers to enable immediate play and feedback with printed versions developed through the campaign.

I have also set up a Facebook Group specifically for playtest feedback, chat about the rules, distributing updates of rules and components. If Whiteout is of interest, please join the group and start spreading the word!

Hi Chris

Have joined the Facebook Group (I think!). I will be backing the Kickstarter. I have never play tested anything in my life but would very much like to give this a go from the Solo perspective.  Cheers, Joe

It's designed for solo or co-op works just as well.

The idea is it'll start easily enough but you'll soon find that supplies are hard to come by and the fights get hard as your characters get exhausted... But do you dare risk making camp to rest using up more of your scant resources?

Chris,
For those that don't do Facebook,
can you set it up so it can be read?
I have seen other groups where that is possible.
Thanks.

That sounds like a good idea.

I think I have updated settings so anyone can find it.
Can someone who does not have a Facebook account have a look and confirm please?
Thanks,
Chris

It looks like it might be a bit reminiscent of Ospreys “Lost Expedition” game. Looking good. I hope there is some “latitude” in the KS, because I don’t need everything...

Concept of an expedition is similar, but Whiteout is a Solo/Co-Op miniatures game.
Our Kick starters are always very flexible so as well as pledges for different groups of products we have a £1 pledge where you can just add whatever add-ons you might like from the campaign.
