Looks like a very professional job and well organised.  It is a good job that you put the cats in charge of supervision and quality control.

The right people for the right jobs is my motto :)

That is a beautiful collection.  Nice to have the kids pitch in to sort it out too.

Don't look now but I think the cat wants its own shelf too.
Also - I am SO envious!

I’m really impressed!

This might well be one of the holy places of the hobby, one of those near-mythical locations which Future generations will doubt to have ever existed!

Actually that is very near to gospel truth. Many of us forum members are of an age to remember (and most certainly participating) the beginnings of the Nottingham empire. To me this is a special generation of gamers, not really the first, but different to those before and therefore the first of a new type. Many of this generation influenced the entire business and still do.

So - yes, this shed looks like a fine monument to commemorate those beings responsible for the hobby days we live in today!  :D

Oh you foolish man. Now her indoors can see just how much of a horde you actually acquired.Even worse she'll be able to when you've added to it. :o
Put some dust sheets over it quickly before its warm enough for her to potter in the garden.
Quick man there may still be time to turn this around.

Far too late for that. She paid for the cabin to get my stuff out of the house  lol

Great job Paul, it looks very organised - are you able to use the space under the table to switch out terrain boards? How big is your table?

The sorting also involved a bit of a purge so lots of older stuff was given away or binned (I can't be bothered with selling large things, the posting is always such a pain) :)

Couldn’t agree more - if one of the guys running my local recycling centre is a war gamer over the years they’ve probably picked up a couple of entire gaming boards, and a ten foot long aircraft carrier

 lol

Just watched the video - excellent - hopefully it will be the start of a whole series of Games Room Tours by various gamers.

I must confess though, it is the first games room I’ve seen that not only has a fridge, but also a lazy Susan - very jealous.

So neatly organized! It is great to know where is what!
The envy of any wargamer! Congrats!
The wish is that you'll keep it sorted on the long run!

It was interesting in the video that you mentioned you try to keep the table for gaming and paint in the house - due to kids/pets I end up painting/scratch building in my games room, and consequently my gaming table has become swamped over time.

Have sent much of the weekend having a good clear out and a bit of reorganisation to make better use of my own gaming space, but it isn’t as half as organised as your own.

 :)

Mine wouldn't be organised if it wasn't for my daughter's help. I would have kept putting it off forever. Having two of us working on it removed the stress and we got it done in a very short time. It was fun to do in the end too.

It is good to have a willing assistant to help organize as well as keep you on track.  I always wander off on a tangent when organizing.

Nice video of your cabin as well.
