Static grass

I recently bought some painted models but I don’t like the static grass on the bases. Is it possible to use inks to dye them or am I better off stripping them?

Personally I'd say It's not worth the effort . It is possible to tweak the colour with paint and inks but this depends on the brand/ quality of both.I add colour to static grass to represent frost, dried, grass ,burnt, muddy , and a light source.
If your not happy with static grass either replace or re base.
