Goose joins 'Everything but the Goose'
« on: April 10, 2019, 10:24:00 AM »
The Goose gets to join 'Everything but the Goose'!

Last year we added a number of packs of miniatures to our Classic Movie Miniatures range based on favourite films and TV shows. These were figures which we felt would work particularly well with Pulp miniature games such as Pulp Alley and 7TV. One of my favourite packs is 'Everything but the Goose' based on Tales of the Gold Monkey. The pack was named as it had all of the main characters, even a model of the Gold Monkey to use as a plot point but was lacking the main star of the show, 'Cutters Goose'

On Monday I hada a day off, as compensation for working the weekend at Salute, so used the time to among other things put together a model 'Goose'

Lots more photos and details on my hobby blog.

Nice one Chris.  I have that same Goose in course of construction (I have a lot of things in that state!). Have you water-lined it? Or is the wooden jetty hiding its lower and intact fuselage/hull to keep options open?

Yes, kept it in tact so I can use it on an airstrip as well.

My nephews had a Tonka seaplane that looked exactly like that. It was a sturdy toy and scaled pretty decently with 28mm.
